Privacy policy

This policy explains what Automated AI Assistant LLC ("we," "us") collects when you use automatedaiassistant.com, call us, or book time with us, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• The free AI workforce plan. When you take the plan at /plan, we receive your first name, business name, email, your phone number if you give it, your answers to the eight questions, and how soon you want it fixed. If you arrived from a campaign link, we also receive the campaign tags in that link.
• The contact form. Your name, business name, email, phone if you give it, and your message.
• Bookings. When you book a review or an assessment, Cal.com collects your name, email and anything you type into the booking form, and shares the booking with us.
• Calls. Our phone line is answered by an AI front desk. Calls to and from it may be recorded and transcribed so it can do its job: answer, take details, book time and pass messages to us. If you'd rather not be recorded, say so on the call or use the contact form.
• Site usage. Our host processes basic request data, like your IP address and browser type, to serve the site and block abuse. We use analytics tools to see which pages are read and which buttons are clicked. One of them also records anonymous replays of visits: the pages you saw, where you scrolled and what you clicked. Anything you type into a form is hidden in those replays, and they aren't tied to your name or email. We use them to find where the site is confusing and fix it.

What we do with it

We use it to write and send your plan, answer you, follow up about what you asked for, run our own follow-up automations, and keep basic business records. That's it.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the business, and only so they can do that work for us:

• Our lead system, which records your request and alerts our team so a person sees it.
• Our email provider (Resend), which sends your plan to the address you gave.
• Cal.com, which runs our booking calendar.
• Our phone and voice providers, which run the AI front desk.
• Our host (Cloudflare), which serves this site.
• Our analytics providers (Google Analytics and PostHog), which count visits and clicks and store the anonymous replays described above.

Some of these providers use AI models to do their part, like transcribing a call.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal information. To anyone.
• We don't share it outside the providers above, unless the law requires it.
• We don't put you on a sales sequence you didn't ask for.

Calls and texts

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about what you asked for. Reply STOP to any text and we'll stop texting you.

Client systems

When we build and manage AI employees for a client business, the information of that business's customers belongs to the client and is handled under the client's policies. We act as the service provider that runs the system. See security and human control for how that work is controlled.

Keeping and protecting it

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, and we use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect it. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data the way we'd want ours treated.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or write to us (details below) and we'll take care of it.

Children

This site is for businesses. It isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged clearly, not buried.

AI use disclosure

We sell AI employees, so we use them ourselves. Here is where AI does the work, so you're never guessing.

• Our phone line. (936) 297-5811 is answered by our own AI front desk, not a person. It can take details, book time and pass messages to us. A person handles anything it can't.
• Your free plan. Your result is calculated from your answers by a fixed formula on our server, and emailed to you automatically. No person reviews it before you see it. The dollar figure is an estimate from your own answers, not a promise.
• The AI employees we build. "An AI employee" means an AI-powered software service performing defined, role-based tasks. It is not a person and not a staff member. We don't pass one off as a person, and consequential decisions like pricing, contracts and payments wait for a human.
• Portraits. Portraits of AI employees on this site are generated images, not photos of real people.
• Our podcast. The hosts of Automated Advantage, Darrell Drake and Tess Collins, are AI hosts directed by a person. Every episode says so.
• Our writing. We use AI tools to help draft and design what we publish. A person reviews it before it goes out.

Terms of use

Commitment, cancellation, guarantees, your part, liability and governing law are covered in our full terms of use. Your signed service agreement holds the full terms for your engagement, and it wins if the two ever disagree.
